“What’s Up Yukon” article on binaural recording
Many thanks to “What’s Up Yukon” for the story on my recent return to the Yukon and my pursuit of binaural recording.
After more than a decade working mostly in southeast Asia, it’s been exciting to re-open my Whitehorse recording studio, Whispering Willows Recording, and to connect with Yukon and Canada based partners for the development of new binaural recording techniques.
My record company, Whispering Willows Records Inc., is the oldest operating record label in the Yukon and has been functioning mainly in support of my Asia activities. But with my growing focus on binaural recording, Canada’s support for the music industry and for innovation is extremely helpful, as is the serenity found in the Yukon.
